I Dream of Perfect Sand Castles
I created this series while returning to the
exploration of color theory. I used tissue paper, gesso and
watercolor to create collages on both canvas and wood that
played not only with color, but with texture and the idea of
painting with paper. The edges are bordered in tissue paper
to create a self bordered finish.
Blues, greens, violets and yellows with
bright red accents create an abstract ocean scape that will
brighten up any space it enters. A long and narrow painting
is great to fill the odd strips of wall space!
Fuchsia border and ready to hang. Signed
