Slowly Setting Sun

I created this series while returning to the exploration of color theory. I used tissue paper, gesso and watercolor to create collages on both canvas and wood that played not only with color, but with texture and the idea of painting with paper. The edges are bordered in tissue paper to create a self bordered finish.

Blues, reds and pinks create a bright and fun abstract ocean scape that will brighten up any space it enters. A painting that will look excellent in a bedroom or over the mantle or couch!
